Dr. Bailey is passionate about providing support for clinicians who are seeking trauma-informed, empowerment-focused consultation or supervision.
Dr. Bailey is passionate about providing support for clinicians who are seeking trauma-informed, empowerment-focused consultation or supervision. He focuses on creating a collaborative relationship that encourages growth and learning for all members of the consultation or supervision team. Sessions are 50 minutes for individuals and 110 minutes of a group of up to four people.
Consultation
Dr. Bailey is available for professional consultation with mental health clinicians by video, phone, or in-person. Individual or group consultation can be done on a one time or continuing basis. Additionally, if you are interested in organizing a consultation group of up to four people, please contact him to discuss this possibility. Dr. Bailey provides consultation on the following topics:
- Trauma-informed treatment
- Complex trauma
- Dissociation
- Psychological assessment
- Forensic practice
- Relational suicide assessment and management
- Violence risk and threat assessment
- Dialectical behavior therapy
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy (Not an EMDRIA approved supervisor)
- Business of practice
Supervision
Dr. Bailey will provide limited supervision on a case-by-case basis. He is generally not willing to be a primary supervisor for trainees; however, will agree to a limited scope, such as discussing psychotherapeutic process or assessment-related supervision. Please contact Dr. Bailey directly to determine he can provide the level of pre-licensure or post-doctoral support you require.
